[2019 Upgraded] Soil Moisture Meter - 3 in 1 Soil Test Kit Gardening Tools PH, Light & Moisture, Plant Tester Home, Farm, Lawn, Indoor & Outdoor (No Battery Needed)

I'm not too familiar with moisture meters, but it always seemed to be off. When I put water in the plant, the meter would mark high, then go back to low within about an hour. If I followed the instructions, I would be flooding the plants. Not sure why it never was accurate.

It zaps plenty of bugs. I gave the unit a test run on my back porch starting at about sunset (late May 2020). It killed perhaps 50 small bugs, including some mosquitoes within an hour. Pretty sure it would have been a bunch more later in the year with more insects coming out. Although hard to tell, I believe we identified in the aftermath a few zapped mosquitoes in the bottom of the lamp. Should be more as we move into summer. I will have to post an update. Note, that many websites say lamps like these are ineffective against mosquitoes. Time will tell.At any rate, I was in shorts and t-shirt outside, none of the usual crawlings on my skin. Great lamp, will run again throughout the rest of the outdoor season.

I’d been having a problem with fruit flies in my office off my garage, so I bought this in hopes it would kill them off for me. I never thought it would be so exhilarating to hear something being zapped behind me, but it is very satisfying when I hear this thing zap those little flies. It is doing a great job killing them for me, and I’ve had almost none bother me since I got this. It’s great that it’s safe for indoors or outdoors too, so I can have multiple uses for it. The cleaning tray at the bottom is extremely convenient as well. Very satisfied with my purchase!

At first I thought it was garbage. So read various reviews of items that look exactly like it. One recommended to sand the ends. I lightly sanded with a metal file. Moisture meter barely worked, sitting in a cup of water would read moist, not wet as one would expect. Light meter garbage. In full direct sunlight it wouldn’t budge from dark. Then I tested the ph. Put it in a shot glass of 5% acidity vinegar. It actually sprung to life and read approximately 5%. Rinsed and dried. Put it in water and it actually read wet! So I don’t know if it was a fluke, but doing the ph test did something to it make it work. Except for the light meter. That’s still garbage.

I bought this moisture sensor to replace a now old broken one I have had for some years. When I first used a moisture sensor I found it particularly useful for making sure the potatoes I grow in bags were neither too wet nor too dry - very difficult to get right, particularly when the plants are bigger. Using the moisture sensor made a BIG difference. I got, and still get about twice the amount of potato compared with when I just guessed how much watering the potato bag crop. Hence buying this replacement sensor now, which is working just as well as the previous one.

It work well and served its purpose. I only used the meter for moisture so I didn't test accuracy for light and Ph. Inexpensive and easy to use. However, 5 months of light use I could see the wear and tear of the product. First, the reading seemed off. The soil was wet to touch yet the meter read dry. Then, moments later on a different plant, the tip one of the prongs fell off (see pic). It works and seem like a good product but personal experience do not expect long use.

This is a fantastic product that every gardener should have. I have found this invaluable with assessing how much water to give all my many pot plants, especially in this heat when the top layer looks and feels quite dry but underneath the soil can be quite wet, and by over watering it can kill the plant, as can underwatering. All in all very pleased with something that is quite inexpensive in comparison to buying more plants.

It is very delicate and the color is not bad, mainly because its function Is very acceptable to me. When the weather is very dull, the mosquitoes and flies in my house are very noisy, but I cannot end their noise. After I bought it, I felt very happy that the mosquitoes did not come to my house, and it ate a lot of mosquitoes

Not working, one another bad purchase experience through Amazon, majority of my testing tools purchased through Amazon are of poor quality and I spent money on repairing or calibration locally, disgusting

The product is very helpful. It helps me measure the moisture content in my indoor plants accurately. Even though I am not very sure if the light and pH meter are accurate, I can confirm that the meter does move. One good thing about using soil meters is that it aerates the soil each time you use it and hence prevents root rot.

Not working absolutely useless

Don't buy, this product doesn't work for checking pH value of soil. It remains same always. It was waste of money
