Bought these replacement laces with hope that they won't come loose all the time like the worn out original laces. Have no fear! There are ridges on the laces that lock tight and secure when tied. No more flopping laces trying to trip you up.

Bought these laces to replace the pitiful laces that came with some New Balance running/walking shoes I got for Christmas. I'm a huge New Balance fan as they are one of the few companies that makes shoes wide enough to fit me and they try to manufacture or assemble in the U.S.A. I wear a 4E for width and could always depend upon NB to fit. However, the last 2 pairs of NB shoes I've gotten had really short laces. I pulled them and measured. One pair was about 48" and the other was about 53". Not sure if NB is trying to save a few pennies, but--Hello, McFly--it makes no sense to include standard length laces with a double or triple width shoe. It leaves the wearer with about 2 inches of lace which will constantly come unlaced. Or you can just walk around unlaced diabetic foot style. In any event, I purchased these laces to fix the problem. They are very well made and are the appropriate length for my wide foot. Will purchase from this vendor again and will try some more colors. The red laces were the perfect color for my NB's and made them pop.

Option A: If you have the factory provided laces which came with the shoe, or you like the lace length you are currently using, remove lace from shoe and measure these from tip to tip. Option B: If you no longer have the factory provided laces which came with the shoe, or don't like the lace length you are currently using, count the number of holes in the shoe you wish to use the new OrthoStep laces and use the chart on the OrthoStep Website to determine which lace length would work best for those shoes. The shoes I wished to use my new OrthoStep laces in were: Women's Asics GT1000 and Mizuno Wave Inspire 12. Both had 14 holes (7 per side) and the factory provided lace length was 54". I found Option A gave me the most accurate information to choosing the right lace length for my shoe and personal lacing technique/preferences. The 54" were perfect. Option B recommended a shorter lace length which would have been too short to tie. Don't forget to add or subtract length to any total per your personal lacing technique/preferences like using extra holes, double knotting, tying tightly, shorter to prevent tripping, etc.IN A NUTSHELL: Pleased with Product

These are shoelaces, not shoes. My last shoelaces were 60", so I wanted some a bit longer to make them easier to tie. The product description said these were 63" and maybe they are, but they are about the same length as the ones I had before which were advertised as being 60". That said, these are good laces for athletic shoes. They are sturdy and don't constantly come untied.Update: I ordered the 73" laces and these seem better. I like to have a longer lace at the end to make it easier to tie the bow, so this size is better for me. The laces are very solid, though.

Nothing to dislike good fit, matches my shoes color

The shoelaces are thick and adequate for my Brooks addiction shoes. The laces are wide enough to stay in place without turning sideways inside the eyelets.

I purchased this product to replace some very worn shoe laces in an older pair of sneakers. They were smaller than the original laces. I am not really pleased with what I received but I have put them in the shoes and are using them. I believe they were a little pricey for what I received but I am going to use them.I will purchase laces by seeing them first in the future.

These athletic shoe laces worked beautifully to replace the native laces that came with Ni ke shoes.
