DII, Classic Round Placemats, Woven , Set of 6, 15" Diameter, Bubblegum

I was thrilled to find these placemats in the perfect eggplant (dark plum/purple) color. Unfortunately, the person who put them into a shipping box thought that folding them would be OK...or else didn't care that it wouldn't be OK. Once this material is misshapen for a length of time, it doesn't go flat again. So, the placemats were ruined and I had to return them. I've received MANY boxes from Amazon that would have been the right size/shape for these placemats. There is no excuse to ruin the item by cramming them into the wrong size/shape box. [Two stars given because the placemats were otherwise nice and would have been perfect if they hadn't been ruined by shipping box.]

These placemats are poorly made with bad places on most of them. The material is also not what I expected - it seems almost like straw. When I opened the package, there was a very strong odor that I hope will dissipate with time since I plan to keep them every though I feel that I should send them back. If I were planning on using them everyday, I would send them back. I don't think they would last very long with constant use. The one positive is that they are the color that I wanted them to be. I will certainly NOT buy them again and DO NOT recommend buying these placemats.

Used for staging my house for sale. Looks great with stacked dishes. Ivory color gives off a classic look. There are no noticeable sewing flaws that is typical of this kind of placemat. All mats are perfectly round, which may sound funny, but I've purchased round placements before that weren't completely round.

I have been looking for replacements for placemats that I purchased at Bed,Bath & Beyond a couple of years ago for my Round Table and was so pleased to see this set in a pkg of 6.The quality is awful...like paper,crinkly,not at all like rattan or a weave or straw.Horrible craftsmanship also.And they weren't exactly cheap.

I hoped they were a bit darker blue. They are slightly lighter than picture shows. It is just a little lighter so it is not bad. I know color is hard to match up online to real life so I give it 4 out of 5 for accuracy. I have not washed them or wiped them clean so cannot say on that. They did arrive with folded creases in all of them. have not got rid of the creases so far. I suggest that the seller have them packaged inside cardboard and then in a box so they cannot fold. Mine came in a plastic bad and they folded prob during shipping. All in all I am pretty happy with them.

These are lovely straw placemats. The color is a deep red and just as expected. I'm going to use them on a nautical-themed tablescape with a navy tablecloth underneath. Will be perfect. Price is perfect too. Great value.

These place mats were perfect for what I intended. They are well made, easily spot cleanable, and large enough to fit an entire place setting.They were well worth the price.My only issue was that the color was a slight bit lighter than the picture shows. I thought, with the color listed as "natural," that it would be the color of unfinished wood, which would have blended with my natural wicker furniture. But it's more the color of oatmeal, then the color of wheat. So, "natural" is a matter of perception, i.e., natural what?However, all-in-all, the color ended up blending nicely with my other table decorations.I'm very happy with the purchase....and there are so many other color selections for this item. If you are looking for a mat like this, you might find a similar product at your local store, but usually--only in seasonal colors. By ordering online, you get to select whatever color you fancy, regardless of season. That was a big plus for me.

I love the vibrant color. These placemats are great value for the price. Had to let them sit for a bit to get them flat from being bent during shipping, but other than that, no issues.

Me gustaron los manteles, buen tamaño y calidad. Los de acabado NO metalico me gustaron más, quedan planos sobre la mesa. Compre unos negros y unos metalicos dorados, pero el material en el metalico es distinto y no quedan planos, estan un poco curvos o pandeados, sin embargo me gustaron.

I got these to go with the 90" burlap runner with red circles on this site. I have a 90" glass oval table and I only ever use runners and placemats. These are sturdy and a good colour, it matches the red leather chairs in our dining room. I always like different ideas setting the table. Every time I see something I like it goes on my wish list. Amazon let's you select the free shipping option when shopping online. I always take advantage of this and place an order as soon as I have enough qualifying items. I would recommend these placements, stacked together they don't take up much room, so you can have more fun with your table linens.

I purchased these in both Yellow and the light green. The colours are spot on. They look great. I use them as both place mats for eating, as well as decorative protection on glass tops, to place ceramics on top of.They're sturdy and clean up easily enough.
