Getting a scooter is like a box of chocolate. You never know what you're gonna get.
There were mixed reviews about this scooter but I took a chance with it since there were more positive than negatives. Unfortunately, I got a defected one.I bought this scooter hoping to use it for my daily commute. When I first opened it, every thing was great. Took it out for a few blocks and it worked perfectly. I took it to work and rode it until it was almost out of battery. As another user mentioned here, it does go very slow in hills. It wasn't even a steep incline, but still affected its speed. Once I was on low battery, I tried to charge it, the charging light just stayed green. Did not work at all.I did not wanna return it right away, so I messaged the seller to see if we can resolve it. Possibly get a new charger. I told them "the charger is not working, the light stays green, and never turns red when I plug it in." They respond with "Oh maybe you haven't ridden it enough, ride it until the battery goes low, and then charge it"I repeated what I said in the first message, that I already rode it and it is low battery. And they asked for video proof. Well guess what. Amazon messages doesn't allow you to upload videos. It was frustrating that they needed proof instead of just taking my word for it. So I just returned it.

Loses power going uphill. Have had for one week, already have a flat.
I bought this scooter for my short commute to a commuter train station. There are are a few places where there is a slight incline. It loses so much power, that I need to propel myself like I was riding a non-motorized scooter. Also, I am strictly using the bike line on a paved road. Why do I have a flat after less than a week use? The front tire is pneumatic and the back tire is a solid rubber tire. The pneumatic tire is the problem. There are some positives. It's solidly built, and I can fold it up and stick it under my desk.

Completely useless after 1 day of use.
Second day riding, and suddenly the brakes fully engage and scooter turns off. I was on the middle of the road and I couldn’t push it since the brakes were fully engaged.Charger sparks every time it’s plugged in as well.I reached out to the seller and still no response. My unit is absolutely worthless and very dangerous. They keep offering me money to take my review down, so if you are reading this I would assume many negative reviews were taken down in exchange for the money. So there are probably more negative reviews than you see here.

Defective
It was great up until it ground to a halt. Wouldn't go without a ugly grinding noise. They offered me $55.0 to take down my negative review. That's shady AF! Do not trust this company.

Great simple starter electric scooter for big adults
All tested on the red setting in a variable slope parking lot charging overnight when battery gauge is flickering empty: I'm overweight and this thing chugs at 10km/h to go uphill at about 7 degrees inclines which is far better than I've seen in the industry for this price point. It can get up to 25kmph going approx 3 degrees downhill. Straightaways 19kmph. Back tire has annoying squeak after first test, solved with WD-40 lubricant for third test. Distance is about 60% what's advertised, probably due to weight. If you're 160 pounds it'll go the distance for sure if you open it up. My family who are a little less than nimble can easily use it after some practice.Overall great value, hundreds less than competitors! Thousands less than the next major pricepoint/upgrade.

Great purchase with worth for money
I highly recommend this scooter! This is the highest quality electric scooter I’ve ever experienced. I purchased this scooter about few days ago, Feels smooth, handles well. This thing is made really well & looks good too. Operation is very quiet & it's simply a joy to ride. Light & easy to carry with the folding design. I’ve ridden the scooter well over the 18 mile range several times, I’m very happy with my purchase, I highly recommend this scooter! Thank you Amazon!

Easy City Travel Method
I use this scooter to get to work where I live in the city. Its much more convenient than walking each morning (which takes more time), biking (which would make my business clothes sweaty), or driving (two weeks to a month of parking is the same cost as this scooter).Pros:-Portable-Easily able to store or take into your work building-Decent battery life, I am able to go a few days without charging (I only travel around 3 miles each day).-Headlight for the early morning hours makes me feel safer-I actually can lock this scooter up (between the "V" shape on the front) with a U-lock in a normal bike rack, which is really nice for when I cannot take the scooter into buildings.-Most of the electric cable is hidden making it slightly more waterproof than other scooters.Cons:-It's heavier than I thought it would be. They show people folding it up and easily walking with it, but that way is actually more difficult than just walking with it unfolded. I can carry it for a bit of time, but it is still cumbersome. There are scooters that are more lightweight than this one that you may want to consider. However those generally have their electric cables on the outside, don't have a display screen, or have a headlight.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and would buy it again.

Highly disappointed
Scooter incapable of propelling an adult. Not worth the money. Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews.
