Over 10 years I've struggled daily to get my cat to eat. This was the right solution! She's comfortable because she's no longer bending over or having to splay out her back legs to lower her head to the food. She can now eat at a comfortable height for her head and the end result is she's willing to eat and is finally eating the proper amount of food. The sides are solid enough without being heavy; and she's used it daily for 2 months without tipping it over. The bowls lift out easily for cleaning. I like them so much I now have 2 sets: 1 for water, 1 for dry food, 1 for wet cat food and 1 for small treats. Great customer service if you have any questions or concerns. Very happy with it.

I needed to reduce the size of the food bowl for my dog. I also had read that it is best for the bowls to be elevated. The 2 I received were perfect! My dog has one for his food and my cat has the other.

I really like these SportPet Raised Stands with (2" deep) Stainless Steel Bowls, the stands height is perfect for adult cats to eat at a comfortable position, which help prevent regurgitation of undigested food. Since my 2 cats have been using them, they have puked much less. The stands also have 2 non-skid pads on bottom back which help keep them from sliding. Since the stands are not made of cheap metal, they won't stain or rust, but because they are made of plastic they might not be as durable. If use with care, they could last a long time.My reasons for not giving them a 5 star rating:1. The plastic stand does not weigh much, so if your cat or dog tends to bump things, they might tip over. (My cats haven't tip them over.)2. The rubber around the top of 1 of the stands wasn't glued in well (see photo), so quality control might be an issue with some of these mass produced products. (Easy fix with some crazy glue.)3. One of the bowls have black spots that don't wash off. I suspect that they are not made from 304-stainless steel and will probably not last because they will end up rusting.4. I don't like the bowls that came with the stands as they are a little too deep for the comfort of cats (about 2"), and will cause whisker fatigue (which means can cause their whiskers discomfort, bending and/or breakage), so I don't use them. I instead use Van Ness Pets EcoWare Whisker-Friendly Non-Slip Cat Bowl ($3 each, the 5.25" dia. blue bowls shown in 1 of the photo), which hold up to 8 ounces of food and can be microwaved for up to 20 seconds at a time. Can also use OurPets Durapet Flat Non-Slip Stainless Steel Bowl (as shown in 1 of the photos, 5.25" dia.), which hold about 6-8 ounces of food. As a water dish, I use a wide rim glass goblet with about the same height as the SportsPet Elevated Stands.So to summarize, here are the pros and cons:Pros:* Perfect height stands to help prevent regurgitation. (For this reason alone you should get them for your cat/s.)* Shatter resistant plastic stands that with care could last a long time.* Shatter-proof steel bowls.* Good size bowls for kittens and puppies to use.* Stands can hold other 8oz 5.25" dia. bowls other than the ones that come with the stands.* Stand have 2 non-skid pads on bottom back, to prevent sliding.Cons:* Stands are light weight plastic that rambunctious cat or dog could tip over.* Quality control issues - 1 stand had rubber around top rim not glue well, and 1 if the steel bowls have black spots that don't come off.* 'Stainless' steel bowls not of good quality, food grade 304-stainless steel, and will probably end up rusting, not durable.* Bowls are a little too deep for adult cats, which can cause whisker-fatigue.* Price is a bit high (I paid $17.95 plus tax for the 2 stands with 2 bowls).Even with the mentioned issues, I still recommend these SportPet Elevated Stands for adult cats, puppies and small dogs. If you can get them on sale, they are worth buying.

I love that my cats are loving these! I have one really big cat, and he appears to be much happier to not have to practically lie down to eat. These are easy to grab the bowl to refill and don't slide around as much as I thought they woukd. They do slide, though, so I placed a mesh shelf liner from the Dollar Tree underneath (cut to size) .

I have many pets and I have bought many raised bowls. This might be my favorite.. Really easy to clean... But definitely for cats or pretty small dogs. Not quite big enough for my thirty pound terrier... Can't fit quite enough food in the bowl but perfect for my cats and chihuahua.

The rubber bits that sit under the rims of the bowl fall off easily. They do not go back in as easily. Outside of that it’s overall a decent product. It nice to throw the bowls in the dishwasher and call it a day.

I bought a set of these a few months ago and they work really well for my cats, one of whom is very tall. No more vomiting after eating.However, the price has more than doubled! I looked at numerous other brands but nothing was as good or even came close. Had to close my eyes and think of England when I paid more than fifty dollars for the second set.

Mis perritos disfrutan mucho estos cuencos. Sirven súper bien para perros de raza chica (Yorkie y pom). No se deslizan.
