I have purchased two of these hose containers and they work wonderfully to keep my hose tidy and off the ground. As long as you are somewhat careful in winding the hose into the container, it holds MORE than the 100 feet of hose they advertise as its capacity. This container does take a little patience to use, but is so much more attractive than a hose reel I feel its worth the small amount of extra time it takes to wind the hose into it. In any case, every hose reel I've ever purchased ends up tangling the hose, failing at the connection points, or leaking rusty water down the side and onto my patio. This beautiful container is a huge improvement both functionally and aesthetically. It also does not tip over when I pull the hose out to water my pots.

For front porch hose storage. Attractive and substantial product

It is lightweight. I have a 100 foot heavy duty hose and I end up wrapping the hose around the base. on the outside of it. And being a heavy duty hose to reduce the kinks it is hard to put it in the container. It would be nicer if it was wider and all the same size and did not taper to a smaller size at the bottom and taller to fit 100 feet of hose. Maybe if you have one of those expandable hoses it would work better. I would not buy this again.Update: I bought a Flexi hose and it works great in here with a lot of room to spare. With this hose I would recommend this for storing it.

I love this hose holder. It looks classy.

This hose pot is visually pleasing however the metal used is too light for a rubber hose. Each time you pull more hose out, it almost tips over. A wider base would be helpful as well.
