I use this product at work, it is bright and the battery lasts long enough I don’t need to worry about it lasting the night. I also quite often use it around the house, as the lights on the side is unfocused and makes a great impromptu lantern.The main beam is focused and quite bright depending on the setting. The device itself is very small (about the size of an AA battery) and light, I wear it as a pendant and hardly notice it is there until I need it. I also clip it to my cats collar when we go out at night, and he seems to enjoy it too.The company selling this product did a good job of displaying it, and I got almost exactly what i was expecting. I did expect it to be slightly heavier, but am quite happy with the weight personally, and everything else works just as it did in photos/videos on the store page.I can’t say much about the UV light, but it does certainly charge glow in the dark stuff quickly, and even at a good distance. It does drain the battery quite rapidly though, so keep that in mind if that feature is your reason for purchase.My only criticism is the charging method, as I believe a type c charger would have been objectively better and simply more convenient.I will certainly think of RovyVon in future when looking for a nice edc light. I am quite happy with my purchase.

This was recommended by a lot of people in UL backpacking community, and it certainly is very light and versatile. However, if this is your only flashlight, be prepared to wire it up to your powerbank while walking. As the low light setting only last about 3hrs before dying entirely. There is no dimming down period, a warning light comes on and you got five minutes to get it charging or find an alternative light source. Basically, I wouldn't recommend this as your only and primary flashlight backpacking, if you think there might be any chance you'll need to hike at night (like leaving for Mt Whitney at 2am to catch the sunrise).The bright setting is amazingly bright and the lowest light setting is almost not visible. I really like the orange tint of the ambient light. If doing it again, I'd likely go with the red light over the UV. The UV is fun, but not as practical as a red light that maintains night vision.

Best pocket flashlight in the universe--- yup the whole universe. This is small so it is easy to carry in your pocket, it has a bright beam that on the high setting gets out 20yd + as night at least. So handy for looking in dark corners or small jobs that need a bit of light for close up etc. Also has a glow feature for reading labels etc without the bright LEDs. My go to flashlight now and it is in my pocket all the time.. I use it a lot.

I've been trying to resist buying flashlights over the past few years. I ran across reviews for this light and got sucked into how great many said it was. I gave in and purchased it. I am not disappointed. For me, this may be the perfect flashlight. Small and light enough to easily carry, great range of beam strength, very bright for it's size, extremely versatile with the different LED combinations, and well constructed. At first it seemed like the ice blue glow in the dark feature did not last long. It turns out that it glows brightly for a short time, but dims down and stays for at least eight hours and most likely longer. If your eyes are not adjusted for the darkness you won't see it. But when they are, it is easily visible. My only complaint is that this flashlight has caused me to fall off the wagon and purchase the A8x Nichia version with red, white and UV side lights. Now I have to resist purchasing the A8x with the amber, red and blue side lights.

This is a fantastic little light for EDC (every day carry). I find myself using it a lot more than i thought i would. I always have lights in my bag, in my car, in my desk, etc., and I have tried many pocket lights and have continued looking for a good pocket light for a while. I am an engineer, and often find myself inside dark control panels and machines, its brighter than lights several times its size, and perfect run time and power to its size. I use the tail cap magnet often, and the side lights come in really handy in many situations where you need a wide are lit up hands free. I have been so impressed with this light that I bought an A28 and an A5, as well as bought several of my friends A5's for Christmas.I carried mine nearly everyday with light use for about 8 months and one day out of nowhere it had zero out put and would not take a charge. The light was completely dead. I emailed RovyVon customer service with a short video of the light not working and my amazon proof of purchase and they very quickly sent me a new replacement light.Product A++Customer Service A++RovyVon has won my business.

Auch wenn die Bedienung der Taschenlampe etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist, so bietet sie unfassbar viele sinnvolle Funktionen. Die High Beams sind wahnsinnig hell, und die Dauer von 60 Sekunden bevor die LEDs herunterdimmen ist auch völlig ausreichend - bei längerer Nutzung gewöhnen sich die Augen schnell an das geringere aber doch noch extrem helle Licht, und die volle Leuchtdistanz über 100 Meter braucht man nun wirklich nicht dauerhaft.Die 4 Leuchtstufen sind sinnvoll aufgeteilt, und insbesondere der besonders niedrige Moonlight-Mode mit 0,5 Lumen und 72 (!!) Stunden Akkulaufzeit hat es mir angetan - tagsüber quasi unsichtbar, aber bei Nacht ideal wenn z.B. etwas runtergefallen ist und man niemanden blenden möchte, zum Lesen auch ideale Lichtmenge. Hier kommt die etwas komische Bedienung ins Spiel, denn der Moonlight-Mode wird nur dann als Standard-Modus gesetzt, wenn man ihn 3 Minuten am Stück eingeschaltet lässt (und sobald man einen anderen Modus länger anbehält wird diese Einstellung überschrieben). Für die Zukunft würde ich mir hier einen Konfigurationsmodus wünschen.Das UV-Licht ist ein nettes Gimmick, und hier ist eine 365nm-LED verbaut, die qualitativ deutlich besser ist als die weit verbreiteten 395nm-LEDs. Seitdem schrubbe ich definitiv häufiger meine Küchenfliesen.Das Umgebungslicht ist deutlich nützlicher als ursprünglich gedacht. Habe es neulich erst benutzt als ich unter meinem Schreibtisch alles neu verkabelt habe, und es macht einen schön breiten Lichtkegel. Als Nachttischlampe könnte es etwas unangenehm sein, da die LED das Auge ziemlich stark blendet, man sollte also immer in die gleiche Richtung schauen wie das Licht und nichts von gegenüber beleuchten.Das rote Signallicht habe ich bisher nicht gebraucht, ist aber immer gut, dabei zu haben. Einziges Manko: es gibt leider kein automatisches SOS-Muster, aber in einem dringenden Notfall würde ich hierfür ohnehin die Haupt-LED mit maximaler Helligkeit benutzen, also verkraftbar.Und zum Schluss noch das wichtigste: nachdem mir der kleine magnetische Clip für das Ende der Lampe abgebrochen ist, hat mir der Kundenservice von RovyVon ungefragt eine komplett neue Taschenlampe zugeschickt, das ist wirklich spektakulär und überzeugt mich absolut, in Zukunft noch mehr Lampen von RovyVon zu kaufen.

If your reading this you probably at least know what it says it can do. All functions work great, the magnets are solid and the power and battery life are incredible for such a tiny package. Most definitely a brand I will look into in future as I am more than happy with this model. UV light works very well. My kid discovered a whole new luminous world in her bedroom when viewing her toys and books etc in the dark with the UV.
