This is a bit different from your normal hula hoop, you have to attach pieces together. You can put sand or water in the pouch to add weight whilst you rotate around your waist. It is a fun alternative however I am still yet to be convinced if this will make waist snatched.

I'm usually a fan of the weighted hula hoop so when I saw this I didn't hesitate. This makes exercise fun which is something that I struggle with. The only downside is that its a bit in the loud side and as I like to exercise early in the morning before work it has disturb my family.

We admit we are a bit stupid, it took us a couple of minutes to realise that in this case, the hoop doesn't go around, the weighted sack rotates as you Hula. Once you have got that clear in your head, it is very straightforward to use - you add sand or water to the pouch to increase the energy you need to use to keep it going, and the whole pouch rotates around you as you Hula. For those of us where space is a limitation, this is actually easier to both use and store in smaller spaces than a big hoop. Although do watch out for anything at waist height as the string goes round and round. Its quite nice that you don't have to keep picking it up, and whilst you won't be doing tricks with it, it is easier to maintain a steady pace and just keep going whilst listening to music or even watching television.It's probably good enough that our old hula hoops may be going to the charity shop !

Compare with the traditional hula hoop, it’s better. Easier to use, take less spaceHowever, it still take much space than I would like.

Firstly get the 'hula hoop' image out of your head and think belt with spinning weighted sack then you'll get how this works.Easy to adjust to different sizes just remove or add sections till it fits and get moving.Great for my tiny flat

A great product, Unfortunately it was a little too small. I messaged the seller to find out if they sold extra links but as of yet haven't heard anything back

The media could not be loaded.  Firstly, I'm a 'larger' lady so wasn't sure if this would fit, even with all the extra spacers but it did with some extensions left over so will fit even bigger people. The instructions are easy to follow to set it up and where I couldn't move my hips properly to keep it going, my son had no problems - the video is of him, the one of me was just too embarrassing to put up!One thing I did miss was to put sand or water in the weight which I think would help to keep the momentum going once you get started - it was quite light and hard to keep going, although it has a very smooth roll when it does go. The plastic hoop is comfortable enough but you definitely need to wear something around your waist - I could imagine it getting a bit sore if you were to do this for a while on bare skin.

I have wanted one of these for ages. Arrived quickly in a good sturdy box, well packaged. Really easy to assemble, we filled our weight with water but you can use sand too if you have some. It easy pulls apart to allow you to clip in as many links as you need to make it fit snuggly around your waist, the weight spins around smoothly with the small wheels which slot into the groove on the outside edge of the hoop. That's its, now you can use your exercise hoop. It's a slightly different motion than a normal hoola hoop, more of a sidewards motion not a circular motion of the hips. I ended up jogging from side to side with it on, you could easily add some small hand weights to do your arms at the same time. I love this item, way better than my Weighted hoola hoop and doesn't need as much space around it, so you can easily exercise indoors. As you lose weight you take out a link to tighten it around your waist. My daughter and I are having a competition to see who removes the most links the fastest. I will update my review in a month or so to see if it's working with inch loss. Although a bit pricey I love this and will use it daily. Cheaper than a gym membership.
