Q: What kind of size toys can fit in the boxes?

Hello, thanks for your question. Our toy box set have two boxes, the size of small box is 11.4*7.7*6 inches, suitable for small toy like building blocks, puzzles, baby's diapers etc. The the size of large box is 16.14*11.4*9 inches, suitable for dolls, plush toys, baby clothes, books and so on.

Q: Can my cats live in them? Just at night, I’d let them use our house in the daytime.

No way! The two smaller ones are tiny for your purposes and the larger one would hold one at best. Stick to their purpose as children’s toy storage or as I use them for craft storage. They are great but in no way suitable for pet accommodation
