Q: Will these fit a 3” x 5” card?

No, this is the outside dimension of the envelope. Got to 4 X 6 for a 3 X 5 card if you plan on being able to inset it into the envelope easily.

Q: are these crystal clear, kind of stiff, or the soft type ?

Crystal clear yes, rigid? Yes but they have some give. They are not soft plastic. Very durable and sturdy.

Q: Can this be used with impulse sealer?

Thank you for reaching out to us! Unfortunately this can not be used with an impulse sealer. But these bags do have other uses such as for earrings, bath bombs, jewelry, bracelets or party favors. Spartan Industrial

Q: What size would you recommend to hold ten (10) 3x5 index cards?

3x5 cards are fairly thin so I don’t see any reason why all 10 wouldn’t fit in one plastic sleeve. You could just buy the 3x5 size that they sell and I should work. If you were nervous about it, just go one size up. They are great quality and can be resealed numerous times without the glue giving out. Hope that helps!
