Occasion Slate Cheese Board with 3 Stainless Steel Knives

This product is amazing. It caught my eye as the price was fantastic for what you get.The slate board is sturdy and looks good whilst the knives are beautiful and together the set looks very classy. Well worth a buy and can see these being used many a time!!!!! Comes in a nice presentation box.Would defo recommend if people are big cheese fans like myself! Delivery was fantastic.

Frankly a rather pretentious purchase after all what's more stylish than a large platter a cheeses and accompaniments; olives, pickles, peppers, celery, carrots etc. to present to your guests. It was used once and put away (somewhere) the knives are excellent and are still in regular use. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this set... if this is the sort of thing you like then this is the sort of thing you'll like. Its well made and does look good - just not to my/our taste.

Brought this for a wedding gift for my brother whose a trendy 30 year old and his lovely wife. Brought this and they love it. My parents spent Xmas with them and afterward phoned me, as it had been brought out with the cheese over the festive period, and they wanted to get one for their friend's sons up and coming wedding as they also thought it was lovely. Packaged well and looks expensive. Do not hesitate to buy - great product - great price

The knifes are not good at all, very light handles feel like plastic probably is and looks like they will fall off with not much pressure applied. Poor quality. Nice slate

The board started by arriving a few days late, luckily the day before my Dad's birthday, and I was hoping the product would be excellent but there are some things that are left to be desired. The board itself is great. It has four rubber feet on the bottom which protect it and the table from scratches. The surface itself looks very nice and something that you would be able to put on display. The knives, however, are a different story. They are very light and lack a certain quality to them. The appear to cut the cheese but with a lot of force applied. Personally, I have left the knives in the cupboard and are using a KitchenCraft Masterclass set. These are excellent and have nice looking wooden handles and would recommend to anyone who needs to replace the knives from this set. Overall I think that this package is reasonable for the price and would recommend to friends and family.

"When opened, slate cracked in half, no knives. Asked to send off photo which did. Another set arrived this time with knives but slate cracked again. Asked to take another photo which duly did. Then asked to take photo of both cracked slates. Obviously thought I was pulling a fast one. Finally had a refund. Pointed out that packing very poor for a fragile item - only wrapped in brown cardboard."

Bought this as a gift, which was received well and comments were linked to it being such a generous present as it must have cost a lot of money, so would consider this to be definitely worth the money. The slate was not a thin, cheap type and the knives looked simple and elegant.

Received this product promptly and was very pleased with it. Knives are of good quality and the slate board is the right size for my needs. Looked a treat on the christmas dinner table!
