Nice to have in yard. Honestly don’t know what to do with cup since I don’t have a putting green , real or artificial. At least the bottom pole has a tip so I can insert into the ground. The flag strings are a bit long. I personally would like a traditional flag that slides over the pole. For the yard, this a decent for fun.

Love golf? Like to dress up your backyard and maybe practice a little? I do, I did! This flag is not a legitimate flagstick, it’s made of plastic and pieces together using 5 components. The flag ties to the top piece with a knot. So what!! It’s super cool looking in my backyard as part of my practice set up. I love the look and it adds some depth for chipping practice. The stick includes a plastic cup that the flag sits in. The cup is deep and I have it planted in my yard. I traced the cup’s outline using a small garden trowel and dug it about 5 inches into the yard. When I cut the grass I pull the pin and cut right over the cup, no issues. So, I now live on the golf course, but there aren’t a bunch of old dudes cursing it up at 7 AM everyday. Winner!

This is pretty straightforward in set up. For the price you can’t really complain. Tying the flag to the stick is easy enough but an upgrade flag/stick would have clips or snaps so that the extra string wouldn’t hang down. 3 grommets with clips would have been a better design. But all in all this works just fine.

Good Quality, easy to install. Seems like it will hold up in weather.

We call it desert rules golf. We pick a rock, tree, stump, etc and see who can hit it with the fewest strokes. I always lose. But, now I think I can level the field.I set this up in my backyard in an area where there is decomposed granite. It pretty much matches up with the kinds of terrain we encounter in the desert. The concrete blocks will eventually get moved, but for now they mimic the obstacles we encounter.I dug into the soil and placed the cup level with the surface. I wasn't sure initially, I did not backfill the cup and the flag would get knocked over in the wind. Once I filled in the cup with some of the decomposed granite, it is holding nicely.The flag fabric is heavy and brightens up that ugly corner of my back yard.
