Regency Barrington Swivel Chair, Black

When I first ordered this chair, it took me 3 attempts to get all of the parts...it seems that Regency doesn't do a good job packing these chairs, as there were two separate instances where the box was torn open and parts had fallen out.Fast forward 3 months and the chair fabric is already starting to tear and wear through in places...I would not purchase this chair again.

Regency sent my parts and received them today! Love my new chair! A week was not to long to wait to put it together........Thank You Regency.

Good chair looks good but seat depth is way short, doesn't lower to floor enough

So comfortable and elegant. As an executive this chair makes my office complete and a very fair price for the quality.

The chair is comfortable but the cushion is way too stuffed. I'm hoping that it settles in a little since it is too stiff and both the lumbar and the chishion push you tto far forward to settle back. The super thick seat cushion make the arms useless. I can't reach the arms of the chair when I'm sitting in it. I'm 6 foot and my legs are fully extended to the ground. This meens the chair is just too tall. It stands a good 2-3 inches taller than the lazy-boy office chair (the best chair I've ever owned but they don't make it anymore). The hight of this chair makes it uncomfortable to work at my desk since I have to hunch over to type on my keyboard. Forget the idea of ever using the keyboard tray. Unless you work on a ridiculously tall desk, this chair is not ideal for an average size desk. At the highest level, I can't reach the floor and I'm 6 feet tall. the fact that it's super tall makes the use of the tilt pretty much none existent since I have to be on tip toes to push up. The chair isn't designed well at all. But if you sit back and upstraight, it's ok and confirtable. But the height and the useless arms make thsi a very poor buy.
