Engine Crankcase Breather Vent Hose Valve Set Replacement for VW Passat Audi A4 Quattro 1.8L

The bleeder valve replacement in a Passat 1.8T engine is not quite an easy job. Anyway, the parts fit appropriately.Expect around 2 hours for job completion, especially getting rid of the one-time clamps from the factory. If your car is old, be very careful not to break other hoses, attachment pins or connectors. Use patience here.Product seems of good quality, comes with lots of clamps. I recommend this kit.

There is no notch on the crankcase breather. 0 chance the clip will go in. see my pictures for reference, the one with bits of red rtv on it is the old one.

Kit arrived quickly and all parts fit perfectly except the y-pipe, it's slightly different than the one on my 03 Passat. Seller addressed my concern quickly and I am very happy with my purchase. Would recommend/buy again, but strongly recommend checking the pictures very closely to make sure the parts all match; they might look close but if they're different they won't fit.

the valve cover outlet vent was a larger diameter than the corresponding hose but i forced it on, other than this, i recommend this kit
