Darn Tough VermontDarn Tough Tactical Quarter Cushion Socks (T4088) Unisex

These are the Darn Tough “Tactical” Quarter length socks. While this is much more than I would normally spend on a single pair of socks, the fact that they have an exceptional warranty and are made in Vermont I believe make it worth it. This particular pair has some cushioning on the bottom and none on the top. I find them to be very comfortable. Considering size, I usually wear a size 12-13 shoe depending on the manufacture, I also have wide and flat feet and the Large size sock fits perfect. I do plan to replace my other socks over time with Darn Tough products.

I've been wanting to buy Darn Tough socks for a while now but could never justify the cost to myself. As my socks are running down a bit, I decided to take the dive and grab a pair. You can just feel by touching these socks that they're quality. I put them on and can feel their thickness is superior to my other socks. I will be buying more soon.

If you've never tried Darn Tough socks, this is a great place to start.I love Darn Tough socks, I've been wearing them for years. In fact, I'm still wearing the same 7 pairs of Hiker socks that I bought several years ago, and they've been the most comfortable and durable socks I've ever worn for daily use.These are no exception, just a little less padded than the Hiker variant. These are great if you like more of an "athletic" sock feel, as they're thick but a bit stretchy. If you're used to cotton socks then these might be an adjustment for you, but it's all for the best, trust me.My only small gripe with the sock is that the bright white logo and number across the toebox is a little dopey-looking for how much these socks cost. Yes, I know you probably don't care what is written across your toes, but it stands out against the black and is really prominent. I don't mind when manufacturers put their branding on their products, but I felt like they could have done the branding in dark grey or something so it wasn't so stark against the black. My hikers have the Darn Tough logo blended into the sock nicely, so it's there but screaming for your attention.I'll definitely buy more of these, as they look great with my Ultraboosts and joggers/jeans, and they're really comfortable.

I’m in my late 60s and my feet tend to hurt went I walk or stand for too long. I bought these to wear to my boxing classes and they have come through like champs. They have a great snug fit that keep my feet firmly planted in my boots without the slightest slippage as can happen with some athletic socks. The cushioning keeps my feet comfortable throughout th workout. I highly recommend them.

I really liked the compression but felt slightly underwhelmed by the moisture wicking ability. I have very, very sweaty feet and they were still a bit damp by the end of the day. But it Way better than basic Hanes socks from Walmart.

DT socks are not cheap but, with a lifetime warranty and bulletproof quality, how can you go wrong? I was tired of constantly buying cheap socks that had holes in them within a few months. I have tried a few different DT styles and have settled on the Tactical 1/4 Cushion Sock as my current favorite. I have found that they are tight if you order based on your actual shoe size. I recommend ordering one size larger. The only downside to these socks, especially in black, is that they do tend to pick up a lot of lint and hair which often remains stuck even after washing. Other than that, I am a fan. My son has been wearing DT socks for several years now and swears by them. He gave me my first pair a couple of Christmas's ago and they are just what I've been looking for.I'll try to update this review after I've worn these for awhile to better evaluate durability. In the meantime, treat yo' self to a pair and take them for a test run.

Without a doubt the very best socks I’ve worn in 70 years. These are very comfortable and if they’re as good as other Darn Toughs I have they should last the rest of my life.

Have sweaty feet? Look no further. Have smelly feet? This is what you need. These socks contain a fair amount of polyester, which is something you want to avoid in clothing, especially if you sweat, but they contain a fair amount of merino wool which offsets the polyester sweats through wicking.

I've originally bought the low cut darn tough socks for my boyfriend, but he recently got a new pair of work boots the are above the ankle. I purchased this pair and he loves them. They are excellent quality and not too thick or thin, he said they're very breathable. We are slowly accumulating darn tough socks as work socks, as no other pair seems to hold out well. He goes through regular socks like crazy, but the last darn tough pair he still has after 2 years. Will always recommend this brand, and this was once again a great purchase. Plus lifetime warranty!!

Best brand on the market. Great socks.
