This is a very solid purchase because it's easy to store, and the setup is a breeze. I love the fact that it has adjustable sizing! It accommodates my vehicle perfectly. Plus, it doesn't obstruct the back seat visibility, which is a major plus. Definitely a must-have for dog owners!

Have 2018 Chevy Tahoe. With third row folded down, needed means to keep dog in cargo area behind second row. There is a 12" by 25" inch gap between the second row of bucket seats that I needed to cover.My dog is a 50lb shepherd. Very smart. I first ordered and installed a cloth net to cover the gap. My dog jumped over it. The cloth net covered about 70% of the gap but left 30% at the top open.Therefore, I felt what I needed was to cover the gap from floor to ceiling 100%.Decided to try the metal dog barrier.I think it's an outstanding product. I'm happy with it. It's noisy.Installation is fairly simple. I LOVE how I can adjust the width of the product. For other Tahoe owners, this product can completely block the width of the vehicle. Meaning, if I wanted I could fold down my second row of bucket seats and feel confident that my dog would stay in the back portion of the vehicle. We choose to keep the third row of seats down all the time and keep the second row enabled.I also haul stuff from time to time like long pieces of wood. I like how I can use the quick release buttons on the cross bars to quickly remove them so that I can slide wood thru.One odd occurrence...my smart dog tapped the quick release of one of the cross members and caused it to release and come off. I think it was a random tap of the paw. However, if your dog is epic smart...well, good luck.On the noisy part. If you don't care about noise, then this product won't bother you. I like a quiet drive. This product rattles. I tracked the noise down. It's the internal bars that insert into the larger bars.I wrapped the inner bars with painter's tape (the blue stuff) and this eliminated 80% of the problem. Now, only hard bumps from the road make the product clank. I had to experiment with how think to wind the tape around the bars. Both the inner bars of the cross bars and the vertical ones had to be treated.Overall, I'm very happy with the product.Shepherds...

My airedale was jumping from the back to the front of the car and i needed something to keep him in or my upholstery was going to suffer. I was not sure it would fit in my car by looking at the measurements so i called the company. They were very helpful and assured me it would fit and if not, they would take it back. I put it in by myself and had no trouble. The instructions are very clear. It is very sturdy - my dog weighs 65 lbs - and does not shift when he leans on it. It is easily adjustable and can be taken in and out without too much effort. I have had it rattle a little bit but have been able to stop than with a little tightening. You do not need any tools, so you can do that anytime if you are on the road. I am glad i bought this product.

This product is poorly designed. My SUV has a ‘panoramic’ sun roof . One over the driver that opens, one over the second row that is fixed.The retractable cover, retracts into a space behind the second row window- over the third row where it retractsThis dog barrier screws into the floor and ceiling using pressure. It went right in thru my ceiling and broke the retracted cover.There should be a warning not to buy this product for SUV’s with panoramic sun roofsDuring the first ride, my dogs pushed his head thru the bar and got caught. I had to stop the car and take the barrier apart to free him.The product does not into account the flexibility of the back/floor of the third row or second row seats where the barrier would be installed. You can keep adding pressure and the unit still movesBeyond a waste of money, it damaged the ceiling of my new SUV
