Q: I'm having a difficult time choosing between medium brown and beige. Restoring a well worn, camel colored leather sofa. When in doubt, go darker?

Eventually I had to purchase several leather dyes to get the recliner covered. But lighter looks awful and you can get a classic look with darker. For a whole couch you will need more than one jar of balm. Try an inconspicuous place and if you dont like it buy another. I finally used Fiebings dye.

No idea how much it would take. But I'm on my first can myself. And it looks like it's going a long way. Just see where one can will take you, and you can always get more when you see where the first one gets you to.

The Leather Re-Colouring Balm absorbs into your leather so will not rub off on to clothes. We would not recommend this for color change jobs.
