Did they change this product?
This listing showed up in my "buy again" suggestions. I loved it last time, so I bought it again. However, the nutrition facts changed a lot! I'm following weight watchers, so this means a lot to me and I had saved the information. The tteok are double the size they were when I bought it last. I used to be able to eat 1/3 of the bag for 8 points, now I only get 4 sticks for the same "price" in my day. 😭Five stars because they are still a good brand, nice and chewy and arrived fresh, and unless you're on a diet it probably won't matter to you, but just wanted people to know it's not the same product it used to be.

Perfect Rice Cakes.
Loved these. The size is slightly bigger then others I e bought from Amazon, but they have a far better chewiness! Added to the Buldak Carbonara Ramen with cheese and heavy cream and it was a “Girl Dinner” for sure. 10 outta 10 recommend!

I wish I could give a zero star
I ordered these excited for rice cakes and was incredibly dissatisfied. Not only were they black and moldy. They are double the price of the ones in asian markets. You are unable to return them and get a refund. Save yourself the $12.

The perfect rice cakes for my rakbokki
I am learning about the Korean culture and trying their recipes. I first ordered these rice cakes in February to travel. They were wonderful - the flavor was great, the texture as well and they keep well in hot temperature. I personally keep them in my fridge as soon as I receive them. They are great for teokbokki and rakbokki.

Updated review: not molds!
I was so disappointed to see what I thought was molds in some of the rice cakes upon opening, was just about to throw the entire package out. Hoping to not waste it, I got curious as to why the spots didn’t actually smell like mold. Researched on it, and found a seller explaining that if the packaging hasn’t been compromised, the brown spots were actually burn spots from cooking the garaetteok. I was so glad to see this, but to err on the side of caution, I disposed of the ones with spots and cooked tteokbokki with the rest of it. It was a nice, chewy texture. Tteokbokki ended up great. Will order again!

YUMMMMY!!
The media could not be loaded. Really great texture, chewiness, not to chewy and even though it’s not fresh it still mimics the real deal well. The packaging is good but needs to be a little more air tight. The product was just what I needed to get my craving under control. I also used glass noodles, with mozzarella cheese and the sauce was a pre packaged sauce that’s a little sweet so I just added more geochang and water. D’Lish!!!😝

Chewy and easy to make!
Came packaged well and cooked up nicely. I used a easy recipe to make tteokbokki snacks! 2 C water, 300 g of rice cakes, 3 tbsp of Gojuchang and 1 tbsp sugar. I also added ramen noodles with a smidge of the ramen flavoring. Mine was chicken.Consistency was nice and chewy and absorbs any flavors you cook with. Will purchase again! I was inspired by some of my favorite mukbangers!

Decent?
The packaging says that it should remain refrigerated which was a bit concerning since it came in a regular box. I've never had rice cakes before but when I opened the bag they smelled weird and I wasn't sure if they were good. I tried them out and unless I added a lot of spice to them, they tasted a bit off. I never got sick and I may have had a bad batch. I think this might be one of those things that you may just need to pick up at a store instead of trying to get it online.
