I enjoyed this product. But, I like like coconut and I like Ube. I think it is a tad on the sweet side for my tastes but overall I enjoyed it and have found it locally and purchased again.

I LOVE coconut. As a child, I couldn’t stand it, but once I reached adulthood, it’s become a fave for me. Whether smeared on toast, added to a PB sandwich, toss on top of ice cream, or mixed into sauces, it’s a delicious addition to my cooking and I really like that this one doesn’t have a bunch of additives. But, what did I really think about it.Smell/scent: Mmmm, made my mouth water with it’s lovely coconutty scent.Taste/flavor: It is so good. I had it on toast and I also used it as topping with hazelnut spread and it is sooo good.Overall: This is delicious. Whether you’re using it as a spread and adding it to baking, if you love coconut, then you want this. Too good.

I've loved coconut all of my life, but have never had coconut jam. This creamy, rich, flavorful jam is absolutely amazing!At room temperature it's a little thin, sticky, and easy to spread. True to coconut's properties when it's cooled it becomes very firm, but melts easily with warmth. When smeared onto warm foods it melts into the crevices wonderfully, and it will seize into creamy lumps on cold foods.I love this jam on chocolate ice cream, pancakes, croissants, and everything else that I've used it on. It's a delectable treat with a simple ingredients list, and came to me entirely intact and well wrapped for safe travels.Though this product claims to be gluten free, it does not state where the malt extract is derived from. If the malt comes from barley (the most common source of malt), it can contain gluten, unfortunately. I would appreciate it if the malt's origin were clearly stated as being from a safe source, since I've recently been avoiding all sources of gluten for health reasons. Thus the removal of a star- I need to be able to fully trust a product to be gluten free before consuming it.Overall I like this spread, but I need to know the source of the malt extract to feel entirely comfortable consuming it. I didn't really care for this. It wasn't sealed, other than the air-pop wrap around it - which made me uncomfortable - and it has a somewhat sweet but bland flavoring with very little coconut flavor that I can taste. The texture didn't agree with me either. I'm sure there are others who will enjoy this coconut based spread and won't be bothered by the lack of a safety seal, but unfortunately I'm not one of them. 2 stars

The smell and flavor are very similar to sweetened coconut flakes. Overall, it meets what I expected for a coconut jam - it's sweet, like a thick syrup, and would work pretty well in place of grape/strawberry jelly on a sandwich... but the price is unbelievably high.It has a strange dusty texture to it... almost like a sandy graininess, but much smaller. It's not unpleasant to me, but still different.$36 is way too much for this.I ordered this July 2022, and the jar is marked best by June 2024, so 23 months expiration from order. Refrigerate after opening. Made in the USA.

Fila Manila Coconut Jam is a delectable topping to toast that I had no idea I was missing and now that I have found it, I can't imagine toast without it! The glass jar holds 12oz of smooth, creamy, and rich coconut jam. When I first opened the jar the jam had a looser texture. It is the color of whipped honey and once refrigerated after opening is thick and easy to spread. The aroma is an intoxicating fragrance of decadent coconut. The jam is delightful on hot toast and when making homemade thumbprint cookies. My family also swirled it into oatmeal and topped waffles and pancakes with it. In all applications it was simply delicious. The ingredients include organic coconut, organic tapioca syrup, organic coconut cream, cane sugar, organic inulin, malt extract, kosher salt, and gum acacia. It is dairy free, gluten-free, vegan, includes no fake colors or flavors, and is peanut free. When it comes to price, it is on the higher side, but considering it includes organic ingredients and is really tasty, I plan on buying it again but just not as often as I would like based on my budget. The product I received has a best by date of 23 months from the date I received it. It is Made in the USA. It is a delicious toast topper and one that any fan of coconut should try.

My first impression of this Fila Manila Coconut Jam Matamis Sa Bao was...........WOW!Absolutely delicious straight off the spoon and so many possibilities to use this great jam. On toast or bagels, in recipes, in drinks, healthy shakes, baked goods, frozen concoctions. WOW! The possibilities are truly only limited by your imagination. Made in the USA! All natural ingredients and just so great tasting. My pictures show it at room temperature. It firms up nicely after opening and refrigeration. Good coconut taste. YUM!This might be hard to find in local stores, so very happy that Amazon has it for purchase and although the price is a bit high, it's the real thing with real ingredients. If you are wondering what coconut jam is, get this now and experience the great taste! :)

A sweet and creamy spread, like coconut turned into a thick syrup. If you've ever had coconut butter, as in the peanut butter-like substance, not the lotion, that tastes very much like this but this is much sweeter though not overpoweringly so.Would go wonderfully on ice cream or pancakes, or stirred into coffee or cocoa, but personally I'm happy just having it by itself on a spoon.A might bit spendy for what you get, but very tasty and if you're a lover of coconut it's worth a try.
