"fresh wear" is very accurate!
I love this foundation so much - I keep going back to it and have for many years. it applies with a natural texture and provides a slightly glowy, very healthy look while still having good coverage and being buildable. it's not very thick - it's like applying moisturizer, really. I think I find it works better WITHOUT primer (but definitely WITH setting spray!). it also doesn't tend to cake up above the lip and on the sides of your nose, and it's not bad about settling into lines around the eyes, though after a long day, I will kind of blend it a bit around the eyes - it can only do so much! it smells lovely and the fragrance dissipates after you've had it on a few minutes. dries pretty quickly, but not so quickly you can't spend a little bit of time blending just right.I've also applied it thickly, waited 30-45 seconds, THEN blended it out when I've got areas that need extra coverage. I usually use a fluffy brush to apply Revlon ColorStay powder lightly over it to set it and give a touch of mattification to my nose, chin and forehead and to set the foundation more on my jawline... before applying setting spray - usually e.l.f. Stay All Night on my cheeks, forehead and neck, and Urban Decay All-Nighter over my eyes.

Nice
Great for the price. Lasts all day. Feels light, medium coverage, natural finish. Best with moist beauty blender.

OUTSTANDING FOUNDATION - I ditched my expensive dept store brand
Absolutely outstanding foundation. I am 63 years old and all my life I have used department store brands. Clinique when I was younger and Lancome after age 40. I was spending $65 per bottle. After listening to some reviews online of this Loreal foundation I decided to give it a try. All I can say is WOW, WOW, WOW! Absolutely amazing. It offer medium to full coverage, and my skin looks like skin. People don't even know I have foundation on and yet my skin is even toned and flawless. Never would I have ever thought this was possible. It is 10X better than any department store foundation.

Grease-be-gone!
Some background: I bought this to help keep my self confidence intact as my acne revolts against my new birth control. I’m a NW13 in MAC foundation and bought the rose ivory shade. I was using my MAC every day to cover up cystic acne and scarring, which is not cheap. Further, my chin and forehead would break through no matter how much “mattifying” primer and powders I used. I started looking for a good drugstore foundation to offset costs.I tried some godawful foundations before this one, so I was nervous. Foundations that kept my oil in check were cakey and heavy, and foundations that were too light offered no coverage or protection from oil. Switching birth control was not an option, so I thought I’d be trying foundations until I was dead. This was recommended to me by amazon’s algorithms so I threw it in my subscribe and save cart.L’Oréal has a real winner with this foundation. It’s very watery and applies smoothly to your face. I use a beauty blender and it dries down in about 5 minutes. Sometimes I need a second coat over breakouts, but oftentimes one pump is enough to cover my trash skin. I apply a matte primer before, set with powder and apply setting spray before leaving home. No break through, no gross oily shine, the foundation just looks lived in throughout the day. I’ll say it again: NO BREAKTHROUGH ON MY CHIN AND FOREHEAD YALL. I haven’t noticed any break mounts since I started using this, which is a godsend. This is not waterproof and definitely not transfer-proof; I wore it to a doctoral defense and cried a nice little trail in my face and have to be careful not to put my face on people’s shirts when I hug them because my foundation will rub off.4/5 stars for a good long lasting foundation. Subtracted one star because it’s neither waterproof nor transfer proof.Stay beautiful out there!

Wide Range of Shades, Staying Power, SPF
I had been using another long-lasting foundation brand but decided to try this Infallible Fresh Wear because L'Oreal is a well-known brand and I have used some of their products in the past. The foundation comes in a glass pump bottle so it protects the efficacy of the foundation. It isn't an open top bottle that requires dumping on a finger or in your hand which can spread bacteria or contaminate the product. This brand certainly has a lot of color choices too. I have warm undertones and some makeup lines tend to cater to neutral or cooler toned skins. This Infallible line has most skin tones covered--light, medium, deep shades as well as cool, neutral and warm undertones. I was able to find a shade that blends into my skin and looks skin-like but enhanced. It also has a Vitamin C derivative which helps to brighten skin (however, if you have extra sensitive skin you might want to do a small skin test first to test for reactions). This foundation feels lighter on my skin than some I have used. I appreciate that it is long-wearing too and has some SPF, although I do wear regular sunscreen under it. It is kind of a matte makeup which may benefit combination and/or oily skin but dry skin types might need moisturizer or it might drag on skin when applying. I have a slightly oily T-zone and while the makeup did well on cool days on hot, humid days I did have to blot some. However, after that it continued to look fresh. Since it is a long lasting foundation I use makeup remover prior to using cleanser. It is competitively priced compared to more pricier higher-end brands I have used-- a lot less expensive. Yeah, I would probably get it again. Hope maybe at least some of this info helps.

Just the right coverage for every day
Finally found the right shade! I went online to findation.com and was given Linen as a good shade match. Then I went to the L'Oreal website and it suggested shade 460 but it was top dark. I've tried 445 and 465 and they were too dark or too pink. I wanted to like this foundation because it is beautiful. It applies like a dream and is not cakey for a medium to buildable coverage foundation. I went with 440 and it matched beautifully. For reference my shades in other foundations are: Frankie Rose: Bare, Anastasia Beverly hills: 270c and Maybelline: Warm Nude. If you're my foundation twin then 440 might be your match too!
